oops.. just realised that i haven’t been updating my blog. hahaha. at the moment not many people know about it. well, i prefer to keep it that way until i actually have more than 5 posts, hahaha. blogging is hard work, people!
today was my first day at work in my busy busy kl! this time i wrote directions down on a piece of paper, which saved me from getting lost. :p today i met 3 new students, and rediscovered my ‘Ms. Wong the teacher’ side. i really thank God for opening this door for me. i didn’t expect to be working in a music school because up til then i had not encountered a music school that wasn’t more than a giant tuition centre. thank you David too for introducing me to this wonderful organisation! :)
i have so many blog posts-to-be in my head that i don’t do anything about! everytime i see something or think of a noteworthy topic i file it away in my head. sorry. i tend to ramble on about my own habit of procrastinating things that i am actually excited about. (my sister is rolling her eyes)
so, here are some pictures that i’ve decided to pull out of blog freezer..
this was in the grand canyon. my butt hurt after sitting in the bus for 41/2 hours to get there. but it was worth it!
At the Grand Canyon, mules have the right of way every time!
here i am standing in a interesting ‘doorway’ in the rock.
I only had time to walk a short distance and look at a very small part of this beautiful and surreal natural wonder.
on the bus ride back i saw a video about the mule-rides to the bottom of the canyon. the mules are so sure footed that no accidents have happened there in the 100 or so years since mules were used to travel down the canyon. but some sure walked close to the edge! however, they have been all trained to face outwards whenever they stop. i guess the reason is so that they can see where not to step. i would love to go again and spend more time on the trails and walks.
